The use of increasingly large haul trucks has created a demand for much
higher haul road quality. This project is evaluating road construction
techniques and the modifications required for 320-ton and 360-ton haul trucks.
Alternative pavement materials such as flyash, coke, and sulphur will be
evaluated.
